Unity and a brick
So last night was free for the Unity Festival, so Grandma came to babysit and Josh and I went down there, It was a lot of fun!! I did not know any of the bands but it was fun to just get out. I saw alot of people that I have not seen in a long time. About an hour in a storm rolled through so they shut down for about a half hour. Josh and I walked back to the van and waited it out. Then we went back to the festival. When the night ended around 10:15 or so, we started to walk back to the van that was parked on a side street across from the Muskegon YMCA. josh and I were talking and he ran head to open the door and put the chairs in, then he opened the drivers side and a yelled and a brick fell out. when we looked up the passanger window was completly smashed in, glass was everywhere, and the steering wheel was nicked and a huge cut in the door. We called 911, they came out and did a police report, luckly nothing was stolen, and I even had my purse under the seat!! thankgoodness, it was just a huge mess. the police were not very helpfull with how we were going to get home, but we managed. This morning we brought it in to be cleaned, and fixed. there were glass pieces everywhere!! hopefully we will have it back by Tuesday. SO i guess I get to ride my bike everywhere!! Im actually really upset, josh and I work hard for what we have and pay cash for stuff, so when some un thoughtfull IDIOT, who cannot think five minutes in front of him or herself does something like this it just makes me so mad and angry. They did alot of damage just to have a little fun. So the car is in being fixed and hopefully tommorow ill have the van back, and the new steering wheel and door panel will be in next week. So tonight when Josh goes down there, there is no parking on side streets with out alot of people and lights. We are also thankfull that it was the Van because that has full coverage, the Saab does not.
